MEET BART EASTWOOD, D.O.

Dr. Bart Eastwood earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Nebraska Wesleyan University. He continued his education at Des Moines University, College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Eastwood completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Ohio University. In addition, he completed fellowship training in sports medicine at Indiana University, Methodist Sports Medicine, where he worked with University of Indiana, Purdue University and the Indianapolis Colts.

Dr. Eastwood is honored to be a part of helping his patients heal and live a healthy life. He finds it extremely rewarding to watch patients progress and go back to enjoying the things they love!

Dr. Eastwood’s specialties include hip arthroscopy and hip impingement, shoulder arthroscopy, rotator cuff and labral repair and knee replacement, ACL and PCL injuries, meniscus surgery, ankle arthroscopy, fracture care, and Tommy John surgery. In addition, Dr. Eastwood serves as a team physician for several sports teams, including Bluefield College, Bluefield State College and Concord University. Dr. Eastwood has worked with the Indianapolis Colts, Purdue University, University of Indiana and Indiana University during his fellowship. He has also participated in the NFL combine.

Dr. Eastwood is married and has two children. Outside of the office, he enjoys fishing, attending sporting events and working in the yard. He loves the mountains and the beauty of the New River area!
